Introduction

Every year universities produce thousands of graduates in Tanzania and other countries of Africa. Thousands of these graduates need employment in government sectors and private sectors. In Tanzania we have experienced very serious unemployment. Young graduates are in street searching for jobs. It is normal to hear that there are 10,000 selected candidates to attend interview competing for only 70 job vacancies

In this situation young graduates need to find proper ways that can help them to get their basic needs like food, shelter,clothes, sex and other necessary needs. Every one wants collar jobs or office jobs. This makes big competition in job interview.

Now let us know the factors that cause many graduates to fail their interview chances. as outlined above we start with lack of confidence, Many graduates when they are called for interview they think will I win the interview? do to the large number of people who are selected for that interview  compared to few number of people needed to fill the job vacancies. Example if PSPRS has called 10,000 candidates while the advertised posts was only 70 automatically many candidates will think of failure. Very few genius candidates will thing of wining the interview. The advice is that do not think of failure  you never know, you might be the one who is needed to fill that job vacancies. Answer those questions with confidence as if you are alone no one else is competing with you in that job vacancies

The second factor why people fail the interview is lack of preparation. Many graduates think there is no need to get prepared for interview. They think questions that are asked are not questions that can be revised. This is wrong! You need to make good preparation before you enter the room of interview. You can get all interview materials  online by searching appropriate questions and answers for interview that relate to  your job vacancies advertised. The good day to start preparation is when you get an alert that you are selected for interview. Government institutions provide good time of preparation since they inform their selected candidates two weeks before interview date.
